Amv - Prelude to Death II (Extended Version) 720p (by HeardYouLikeGore)
Pretty fucked up amv :)
A personal favorite of mine, as most of these are, this particular AMV uses a track by Pogo which is always a huge plus for me. It took a while for this mix of his to grab me, but seeing it with quick visual by another talented editor such as himself seemed to do the trick since it made the whole thing even more fun.
The anime used is Gurren Lagann, one that I actually haven’t seen that much of. I sadly don’t remember that much from it, but a friend of mine is heavy into it right now. Maybe one day I can pick back up on it, but with such a long list of animes that I need to finish, that might be a while from now.
One thing I love so much about this AMV is that it, like many videos that impress me, didn’t use a lot of effects. Timing is so crucial to AMVs, and when that’s the main effect used it always shows so much more talent to me. This person used some effects too of course, but it wasn’t effect heavy and definitely not effects reliant. The lip syncing is spot on and I hope to find more by this particular editor.
Something I especially liked was that the characters seemed to match their voices very well, well, aside from maybe Woody, but even that made it more fun. Though I still love that they fit so very well for Andy and Buzz. Lip syncing is so very difficult to do, so I love that they fit that in despite how expert and precise their timing was with everything else. It shows true craftsmanship in making a video, in my opinion at least.
As usual, be sure to check out their animemusicvideos.org page so that you can enjoy more of their work and give them support.
here’s a throwback to all of you that were into the fandom back in ‘08! heh, any of you remember this? hmmmmm……….?! *laughs, filled with so much nostalgia*
gawd back in ‘08 death note was….THE shit to my friends and i, and this was one of the many crack things we loved with it, seriously, i watch this and instantly feel like i’m 19 again *bounces happily*
death note crack was the best, enjoy!
I apologize for the quality of some of the AMVs that I’ll be posting up, but since I don’t want to mess up anything with copyrights I’ve been finding AMVs that I have on my computer on youtube. This one truly is beautiful in it’s original form so I heavily implore you to check out the original video at the original website for it which I’ll be providing.
Anywho, moving on, I do love this AMV. Like so many of the great ones out there, it’s very little known. The footage synchs up perfectly with the music and beats, and what I love most is that this is a good example of an AMV that doesn’t require a bunch of effects to make it good.
The song choice was just perfect, and the fact that they used footage from animes that have varying animation styles only made it that much more appealing. Anything that uses Amazing Nuts! is great in my book, and though there’s only a few clips of it in this one, the many different animes used keep up that different eclectic feel.
If an AMV can manage to give you goosebumps then you know the editor did something right, and I get that when I watch this one so I hope you all did too. Another neat thing they did was put in clips from the original music video, giving it that 90s movie music video feel. You know the ones, when an artist did a song for a movie and the music video has clips from the movie in it? Yeah, that.
Fireflies is a great song that just begs to be used in editing projects, and doing a techno remix of it only made it that much more enthralling. So I hope that you all enjoyed it as much as I did! Remember, be sure to check out the original on the site!
I so love this AMV and I will give so much more information on it when I’m not nearly as tired as I am right now lol Know this though: it makes me think of one of my favorite characters from a book: Dax Praxx, and there will be plenty on that too when I add more to this description lol And know that the editor is Nostromo_vx on animemusicvideos.org and that the AMV title is Galaxy Bounce! Enjoy!

Looking through the vast amount of lovely AMVs I have on my computer, I couldn’t think of anything better to start with other than the beautiful work you’ve just seen.
Its beautiful and colorful flow couldn’t be better synchronized by the editors of the anime itself. Of course, it’s a very popular AMV that I’m SURE many of you have already seen, made by the master editor Koopiskeva. Be sure to visit his page on youtube and animemusicvideos.org that I’ll be leaving!
Skittles has been around for quite some time now, and my thoughts are still the same now as they were when I first saw this AMV: no matter how hard I work, I will NEVER be able to make something like this lol
The AMV is a perfect blend of music, fun, and color, with impeccable timing. I think one of the things I love most about this AMV is how its feel seems to encompass perfectly what fun is all about. No matter who I’ve shown it to, it seems that everyone always ends up bopping their head or sometimes even swaying to it in time. So brava Koopiskeva! Be sure to watch all the way through the credits, they’re cute and of course I’m filled with a little bias since they reference one of my favorite movies lol
Again, be sure to visit the links and give Koopiskeva some of your love!
